I know I say it almost every release but genuinely this one is special. I saw Human Condition play for the first time at Vinnies Dive in June 2025 and it was freaking awesome. Cherry from Human Condition and Anti Vision also booked the Forewarned show that we played with Time Ends in Nambour. It was so awesome to at least for one day, be a part of the scene in Nambour/Sunny Coast that everyone was talking about. When I first started Fortify Records, Human Condition was one of the first bands I hit up. They didn’t have music out and they were exactly the kind of people that I wanted to support. They came down to Adelaide and played the first proper show I booked with Fortify (and their set was mental), I got to play with them in the Sunny Coast again when Stressed toured and we had some crazy beach hangs. If you buy the cd, the middle photo behind the logo was one that I took after the Stressed show in Tewantin when we went to the beach in Noosa. I think I’ve been hassling them for the last year now about getting music out and it’s been a long time coming but now being able to release their debut EP - not just a demo! - has been such a privilege. They are some of the kindest and most genuine people I have met. They’ve supported me a lot with Fortify and my bands. And the beach towel might be the coolest piece of merch I have done.
